Dock & Bay Microfiber Towels
Dock & Bay launched their first quick dry beach towel in 2015.
This was so successful that they have expanded not only their towel print designs, but now have a very impressive range of innovative, high quality, and sustainable products.
What's so good about Dock & Bay Beach Towels?
I'm a fan of Dock and Bay products since buying my first towel and hair wrap about 3 years ago.
I appreciate these more, the longer I've had them, and use them weekly at least, even when not on vacation.

The Dock & Bay Range
The guys behind Dock and Bay started with a great product (their beach towel) and just keep improving on it. They now win me over with quality, eco-friendly products, coupled with beautiful colours and stunning designs.
The Dock & Bay range now includes:
5% of all profits goes to charity (read more on that here).
It started with a Beach Towel and a Hair Wrap
I discovered Dock & Bag products when researching BIG beach towels. I wanted a towel that I can throw down on the ground, and my feet won't be hanging off one end burning in the sand while I grapple to make sure I have plenty of head and elbow room at the other end. Lucky for me, I came across Dock & Bay XL towels.
I liked the idea of a large but compact beach towel.
To get free shipping at the time I purchased a towel to test out, I added a Hair Wrap into the purchase. I'm so glad I did!
As soon as the package arrived, I was impressed by the pouch that the towel comes in and the box that contained the hair wrap. Both just instantly ooze quality.
I thought I knew what to expect with the hair wrap as my sister had previously given me an Enjo hair wrap (which I love sis, don't get me wrong).
The towel however was different. To be honest, it took a little getting used to.
Why am I such a fan?
Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference.
The hair wrap has a button and loop so that you wrap it around your head, and button it up at the back - simple. It doesn't become untucked, or fall apart. It just stays put.
The Dock & Bay towels also have a loop which make it easy to hang them to dry. That's just the start of the good things.
My Dock and Bay towel is now my go-to towel whenever I go out.
It's so compact that it easily fits into my Dry Bag or backpack. In comparison to a regular cotton beach towel, these microfiber towels take up barely any space at all.
Once you throw the 'thickness equals best' mentality out, these towels really shine.
The longer I've had my XL towel and hair wrap, the more I appreciate them.
The biggest thing I've noticed in comparison to my normal beach towels or bath towels is how fast drying these are. I'll hang my other towels out to dry naturally, but then transfer them into the clothes dryer when they're almost dry, to fluff them up and make them soft.
Dock and Bay towels are just beautifully soft and fast drying. No need to use a clothes dryer at all.

Make sure you hand wash your Make-up Remover Pads with warm soapy water after each use.
If your face wipe is covered in heavier pigmented makeup:
Start with a cold machine wash (under 30 degrees), but after the first few washes, it's ok to turn up the heat.
Don't mix your white shirt or dress with a coloured towels (or coloured anything), it can lead to tears!
Just to be on the safe side, don't wash Dock & Bay stripey towels and block colour towels in the same wash.
Try not to use fabric softener to make your towel last as long as possible. Over time, fabric softener may reduce the absorbency of the towel and degrade its performance. Honestly, these products are so soft, you really don't need fabric softener.
Do not bleach, or put near fire or hot implements.
Tumble drying is ok but I've found these products dry so fast and remain soft, that I have never needed to put them them in a clothes dryer.
If you're going to use your towel on vinyl, (such as a boat or yacht) wash it a few times before using.
The pouches are hand wash only, so should NOT go in the washing machine.

How to Wrap your Dock and Bay Hair Wrap
More Good Things
Just like the towels, the Hair Wraps are compact and quick drying. Drying your hair is now a breeze whenever you're on the move.
These hold all of your hair, and also cut down on blow drying time.
The lightweight wraps reduce frizz and breakages, helping to keep your hair healthy for longer.
This is light weight, and the best thing I've found for my hair. I have long, thick hair that was always falling out of a normal bath towel.
This hair wrap is so stylish and the button and loop holds it in place without it moving. The absorbency is so much better than a regular bath towel, and my hair comes out much drier.
I have the Blue and White style but the new Botanical range of patterns makes me think I can do with some more.
Beach Towel Dimensions
These are big towels that pack down to be extra compact.
The Extra Large (XL) size measures 200 cm x 90cm (78" x 35") and covers your whole body.
If you want something a little smaller (but still big) the Large size measures 160cm x 80cm (63" x 31").
These towels are high quality and made with a mix of 80% polyester/20% polyamide. They are 220 gsm and the fabric is soft and suede-like.
They easily fold up into a soft cotton pouch, which is great for traveling light.
Each towel has an elastic hook which makes it easy to hang up and dry.
30 Days Return & 12 Month Product Warranty
Dock and Bay have a 30 day return policy. If, for whatever reason, you're not happy with your item, get in contact with them and send back the unwanted item for a refund, totally fuss free, no questions asked.
When you do receive your product, make sure you Register your purchase within 30 days, and this will cover your item for 12 months.
If you find your product is less than perfect within the first 6 months of use (including rips, tears, discolouration, colour runs) then contact Dock and Bay and they'll replace it, free of charge.
This does not cover issues caused by general wear-and-tear, such as staining.*
*My hair wrap becomes slightly discoloured as it absorbs a bit of hair dye after I put one through my hair at home each month. I soak it in some stain remover and it comes back bright as new every time.
Nothing quite says 'Summer Holidays' like the designs of these towels, swimmers, and hair wraps.
