As my old dive watch has gone to heaven, I searched for a suitable replacement and found the Aqua Lung i770R which more than suits my needs.
This is the flagship the “Aqua-Lung” range that comes with a beautifully bright and colorful TFT screen which can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Has an Auto function set to dim the screen after a period of time below the surface.
A very simple three-button operation. These buttons are “set”, an “up” button, and a “down” button. And the menu is so easy to work. Some software works nicely, and some are horrible. This is in the nicer category. Needs no manual or explanation. This is the way software should be.
All info can be displayed on the screen. This includes depth, air time remaining, dive time, gas pressure when used with a compatible transmitter, gas mixture and max depth with a current gas mix if using nitrox. The display even has a very versatile compass.
Pair using Bluetooth to your phone, and a whole host of watch settings and diver logs become available to you via the app.
The app can be used for firmware version updates, as well as reading the manual and user guides online.
